Our main focus & goal with Kidsplaining is to be a resource in making the modern tabletop hobby more accessible for families.

How it all started: if 2 kids could teach you a game, would it be less daunting?

That’s the idea that started it all.  Modern boardgames can be intimidating – so many parts, big boxes, long rulebooks…but if a 7 and 11 year old can play, then so can you!

At Kidsplaining, you will find informative, helpful tutorials, fun unboxings, entertaining podcasts, and more!

Kidsplaining is a family project started during quarantine that turned into so much more!  What started as a way to keep us busy when the world was upside down blossomed into a love of boardgames and the incredible boardgame community.

We want to help more people fall in love with boardgames the way our family has, remove the intimidation, and make modern boardgames more accessible for more people.
